Poor Benedict XVI had declared October 11, 2012 - November 24, 2013 to be a Year of Faith. What I want to know from you is:
1- What is your faith to you?
2- Could you devote a whole year to deepening & sharing your faith? What would you do? Why?
This is something I’ve been curious about, and I want to revisit the idea of a year of faith a few times this year, but I want your input first.
So?
[GOD derailed my whole life at a point where I was reaching critical mass, and ever since, I let Him do whatever He wants, no questions asked.]
Maybe we need to start looking at how we treat GOD with our prayer. So many times, I hear people praying one particular prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to come. I’ve always found this odd. I don’t want to sound like a heretic here, but it almost seems hypocritical or arrogant of us to make such a request.
Sometimes, we wonder whether or not we are good enough: good enough for GOD, for our family, for our friends. We often times think that we may not be worthy of the call. We may feel overwhelmed & frustrated. So what can we see in the Bible about being “good enough”.
